i really like the red/maroon. I wish i knew how you drew avatars so i could go through a different one each week. I get use to seeing one then BOOM another one.

Crabcake, can i ask how you draw the avvies as well? Like, you say you use a tablet..well that just went right over my head..no clue what that would look like or how it work...
Also, i'm curious, is there such a thing as a USB pen that you can use to draw? Cos well..i just use my mouse

I'm actually kinda interested in that too...
I've seen few fan arrts, but I can't understand how people write so nicely...

i have a tablet at home - i dont use it much lol

u use a pen with the tablet to draw - u can get them from pc world skye - the one i bought was £30 - £40 i think

pft..im not paying that! nah i was just curious..cos if i wanna write something..its frickin hard using a mouse..so a pen wud b cool..but my art isn't really for profit, so there wudnt b much point in spending that.
If i was taking an art course i would though..unfortunately..im taking sports science, and theres not much cop for drawing in that

I use a wacom tablet (an older model) my boyfriend gave me his old one when he got a shiny new one. I do this in compilation with PhotoshopCS2 which is probably the fanciest and newest photoshop out there that the same boyfriend pirated for me.
Most people draw the lineart, scan it and then color it but because these are so small I just draw the whole thing on the computer.

I used to do a bunch in Corel painter but I feel photoshop is more rounded.

right now I am really excited about these inks and brilliant watercolors I have so I may start drawing some off the computer and just scan them in... when I get myself a scanner.
